It's that time again. I'm so proud to walk again this year with my team to help wipe out breast cancer. This year it will be in Rhode Island from May 31 thru June 2. This all started back in 2007 for some of my teammates and I was delighted to be asked to join them. Ever since my first walk in a frigid NYC, I've been a part of these wonderful women and I have made friendships that will last forever. We walk to fund research, to give hope to those fighting and those who will come behind. And along the way, we help educate people that our pets can get breast cancer and how to proactively help them stay healthy.
Please consider donating to my walk this year. I know of no one who hasn't been touched by this insidious disease. It has taken our mothers, our wives, our sisters, our aunts, our friends. It can and does affect our dads, our brothers, our husbands. Those who have fought and lost need hope for those that come after them. And the warriors who have won and those who still fight the battle need every weapon in our arsenal to keep that fight alive. My goal this year is $2,000. I've crushed that in the past and hope you will help me do that again. Every bit will help and go directly where is it needed.

(and for my local friends who heard me rumble that this year would be my last - not happening! We've already found a new location for 2020 so I'll be walking past 70 after all. 70 is the new 50, so I'm still trekking! )
