I am thrilled to participate in my fifth walk with Sugar's Trekkers for Tatas as we work together to combat breast cancer. I am proud and honored to be able to do my small part to combat cancer in all of its forms, and to provide support and comfort to those who suffer from its devastating effects -- be they human, feline, or canine.
Our team represents walkers from all parts of the country,,, I'm from Maryland, and this will be my very first visit to Rhode Island!
I walk to support ALL those affected by cancer, but especially for my dearest family members and friends who have experienced or passed from cancer, including my mom, Janet LeSueur; my sister, Ellen Windmiller; my sister's relatives, Wendy Koehler and Barb McIntee; my brother-in-law, Joseph Yaver; my friends Phill Reiman and Michael Ragland, my cats Augie, Beckham, and Daisy; and our dear friend and Catster/Dogster founder, Ted Rheingold. And of course, Sugar -- our team mascot who leads and encourages us EVERY year.
I was not able to complete last year's walk because of a number of health issues in my family. That's why it's DOUBLY important for me to be able to complete the 2019 walk. I ask your help in meeting my fundraising goals. Please contribute to my walk fund if you can. I would truly appreciate it, and it will go toward a worthwhile and important cause.
